The challenge
QDQ Club approached oContis looking for a long-term, sustainable brand and data setup, not a short-term theme refresh. With an extensive product range across activewear and sweats, product discovery had to be sharp. A standard size guide was not enough: in fashion, most returns come from fit uncertainty, and a quality-led brand cannot afford that friction.
The strategy
oContis built the storefront as a durable commerce system: Shopify 2.0 for merchandising flexibility, structured product discovery for a wide catalog, and a custom data model for brand models and size measures. Lifecycle and social proof tooling (Klaviyo, Loox) were integrated so the brand could grow without bolting on disconnected apps later.





Results
QDQ Club now runs on a maintainable Shopify foundation with sharper product discovery and fit context that a static size guide could not deliver. The custom model size system, powered by metaobjects and metafields, helped reduce returns by 62%, while conversion rate lifted 18% and average order value rose 14%. Together, that protects a quality-led brand from the most common fashion return driver and gives the team a data architecture built for the long term.
