The challenge
YuMOVE was migrating more than 300,000 customers from Recharge to Ordergroove. A move that size creates operational gaps: support teams lose familiar tools, subscription edge cases multiply, and storefront performance still has to hold under heavy review and collection payloads. At the same time, the brand needed a custom quiz that could route pet data into multiple systems without becoming a fragile one-off. They needed technical consultancy that could keep the migration moving without compromising customer experience.
The strategy
oContis supported YuMOVE on a consultancy basis across the migration window: custom apps where the new stack left support blind spots, performance work where third-party widgets were bloating collection pages, and a fully custom quiz built with Gadget as the backend. Quiz work was delivered alongside YuMOVE's in-house developers, with data flowing to multiple endpoints across a complex multi-system integration.
Results
YuMOVE completed a high-stakes subscription migration with support tooling that kept customer experience intact while 300K+ accounts moved platforms. A custom quiz, built with Gadget and YuMOVE's in-house developer, connected pet recommendations into a multi-system flow. Collection pages shed 18MB of Trustpilot widget weight and loaded 1.2s faster, with more room to customize how reviews appear on the storefront.
